GCC Customs Union
The Federation
It is the zone where customs duties and restrictive trade regulations are eliminated among member states, while unified customs tariffs and trade regulations are applied uniformly toward external countries.
The GCC Customs Union is based on the following principles:
A — A unified customs tariff towards external countries.
B — A unified customs law system.
C — Adoption of uniform regulations and systems across GCC countries in relevant fields.
D — Unification of customs, financial, and administrative procedures related to import, export, and re-export within the GCC states.
E — A single entry point where unified customs duties are collected.
F — Free movement of goods between GCC countries without customs or non-customs restrictions, subject to veterinary and agricultural quarantine regulations, and prohibited or restricted items.
G — Treating goods produced in any GCC country as domestic products.
